Terms for publishing in Jerash for Research and Studies

- The research work must be characterized by novelty, objectivity, and scientific soundness.

- The research work must not have been published or submitted for publication in any other scientific medium.

- The percentage of citations in the research work must not exceed 30% (excluding primary sources and references).

- The number of words in the research work must not exceed 10000 words; in addition to an abstract of the work in Arabic and another in English, each of which must be between 150-250 words, with the keywords.

- Documentation must be in the form of endnotes appearing at the end of the research work, and their numbers must be included after punctuation marks in the text, and numbered consecutively on the work pages.

- Documentation must be in accordance with the applicable journal documentation system (MLA).

- A list of primary and secondary sources translated into English must be added at the very end according to MLA system.

- Research works must be sent by creating an account on the Journal's website:  Jrs@jpu.edu.jo

 

Upon submission, researchers are asked to acknowledge that the work has not been previously published and will not be published elsewhere.

 

- A transfer of copyright from the researcher(s) to Jerash University is required before the work is considered for publication.

 

- The Editor-in-Chief will provide the necessary form for this transfer (Copyright Form) before sending the request to the referees.

- It is prohibited to copy any part of the contents of the published work without written permission from the Editor-in-Chief.

Organizing the Research Work:

Research works should be written in Arabic, English, French or any other agreed language (and research submitted in Arabic, French or any other language should be accompanied by an abstract and keywords in English), and all research should be prepared according to the journal's style/policy.

 

Reprints and drafts:

The researcher will receive the first drafts to make the necessary corrections, and will be asked to return the revised version to the journal within a week, and no substantial changes to the research will be accepted at this stage unless requested by the researcher.

 

Publishing fees:

150 Jordanian dinars or its equivalent upon acceptance of the research for publication.
